Beijing Jiaotong University, a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, is actively involved in the development of both the “National 211 Project” and the “985 Innovative Platforms for Key Disciplines Project,” with support from the Ministries of Education, Transport, Beijing Municipal Government, and China Railway Corporation.
The institution sees international collaboration and exchanges as a key strategy for raising educational standards. BJTU built partnerships with 289 institutions and prominent international businesses from 49 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, in an effort to actively respond to the “Belt and Road Initiative.”
