Anhui University of Technology (AHUT), established in 1958, maintains a concentrate on engineering while maintaining a balanced development in science, economics, management, humanities, law, and the arts. The Anhui Provincial Government and the Ministry of Science and Technology both aggressively support AHUT as a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive university.
Two campuses that together total 1.64 million square meters make up AHUT. In the university’s 62 bachelor’s degree programs, 17 master’s degree programs of first-level disciplines, 21 granting units of professional master’s degree, and 6 doctoral degree programs, 23,500 undergraduate students, over 3,400 graduate students, and 402 international students are currently pursuing their education.
Anhui High-Level Construction University with Local Characteristics, National Excellence in College Students’ Psychological Health Education, and National Energy Saving Model are among the first batch of Model Universities of Deepening the Reform of Innovative Entrepreneurship, one of the top 50 Universities Modeling in Innovative Entrepreneurship Practices, and University Implementing Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program of Ministry of Education (MOE) of China.
